Job Description Plymouth-Canton Epoxy Floors is looking for an experienced, licensed independent contractor to install epoxy and polyaspartic garage floor coatings on residential jobs we've already sold. We handle marketing, lead generation, quoting, and customer scheduling — you handle the installation. This is steady, pre-sold work with no cold-calling, no chasing leads, and no sales calls required on your part. This is a great fit for an experienced flooring or concrete coating installer who wants consistent local jobs without the overhead of running their own marketing and sales pipeline. What You'll Do Perform diamond-grinding surface prep, moisture testing, and crack/pit repair on residential garage concrete Apply 100% solids epoxy and/or polyaspartic polyurea coating systems per manufacturer specifications Communicate professionally and directly with homeowners on-site Maintain quality and safety standards consistent with our company's reputation Provide your own labor, tools, and equipment for each job Complete jobs on the agreed timeline and report completion/photos for our records What We're Looking For Proven experience installing epoxy, polyaspartic, or similar concrete coating systems (residential garage experience preferred) Valid Michigan contractor licensing as applicable to the scope of work performed (Residential Builder or Maintenance & Alteration Contractor license through LARA is required for projects over $600 — verify your license status at Michigan's Verify a License portal) Current general liability insurance (required — proof needed before first job) Reliable transportation and your own diamond grinder / prep and application equipment Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and meet agreed project timelines Strong attention to detail and comfort working directly with homeowners in their space References or photos of prior completed work Compensation $2,000 flat rate for a standard two-car garage (approximately 500 sq ft), paid upon job completion and customer sign-off. This rate covers your own materials/supplies and labor. Rate is adjusted up or down for jobs meaningfully larger or smaller than a standard 2-car garage, confirmed with you before you accept each assignment. Steady flow of pre-sold, qualified local leads — you're not paying for marketing or spending time on estimates that don't close. Sales commission available if you are experienced in the sales process. No taxes will be withheld; you are responsible for your own tax filings, insurance, and licensing. Contractor must carry valid general liability insurance and, if applicable, workers' compensation coverage for any of their own employees or helpers. Contractor must hold any Michigan state or local licensing required for the scope of work performed. A signed Independent Contractor Agreement will be required before the first job is assigned, outlining scope, payment terms, insurance requirements, and liability.
