About BrightCore Building Services BrightCore Building Services is a growing Charlotte and surrounding area cleaning company providing commercial cleaning, janitorial services, carpet and floor cleaning, post-construction cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, Airbnb turnovers, and window cleaning. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning and Floor Care Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality work. This is a hands-on position involving different types of properties and cleaning projects. Work hours and locations will vary based on client needs. Responsibilities Perform commercial and janitorial cleaning at offices, retail spaces, medical facilities, short-term rentals, vacant properties, and other client locations Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect surfaces, remove trash, and clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas Complete move-in, move-out, Airbnb turnover, deep-cleaning, and post-construction cleaning projects Clean carpets using professional carpet extraction equipment Scrub and clean hard-surface flooring using appropriate equipment and products Clean interior and exterior windows that can be safely accessed Remove dust, debris, stickers, residue, and construction-related buildup when assigned Safely operate vacuums, carpet extractors, floor scrubbers, orbital machines, wet/dry vacuums, and other professional cleaning equipment Properly handle cleaning chemicals and follow product instructions and safety procedures Inspect completed work and correct any missed areas before leaving the property Load, unload, transport, and organize cleaning supplies and equipment Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients Report property damage, safety concerns, low supplies, or equipment problems promptly Follow company procedures, client instructions, and assigned cleaning checklists Qualifications Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, carpet cleaning, floor care, housekeeping, or post-construction cleaning experience is preferred Experience operating carpet extractors or floor-cleaning equipment is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Dependable, punctual, honest, and able to follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to use a smartphone for schedules, messages, photos, and job updates Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to different job locations Ability to pass a background check when required for client facilities Authorization to work in the United States Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Ability to move cleaning supplies and equipment safely Ability to climb stairs and use step stools or ladders when trained and required Ability to work around cleaning products, dust, and common workplace allergens Schedule This is a part-time position with hours based on scheduled projects and client demand. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary from week to week. Candidates must have some flexibility to work early mornings, daytime hours, evenings, and weekends. Additional hours may become available as the company grows.

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
