Responsibilities Assist in the installation of tiles, LVP/LVT floors, engineered wood floors, and walls according to project specifications and technical drawings Prepare the workspace and surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or adhesives for optimal installation results. Break down and clean workspaces and keep them clean throughout the job. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure building materials with precision Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate placement of flooring and fixture Maintain strict adherence to building installation safety standards and protocols throughout all tasks Perform manual handling of materials and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and prevent injury Assist with floor refinishing, buffing, caulking, and general floor care to achieve a polished finish Contribute to remodeling projects by supporting carpentry tasks such as drywall finishing or painting as needed Help interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise execution of flooring layouts Experience Prior construction site experience with a focus on flooring installation or related trades is highly preferred Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading enhances your effectiveness on the job Hands-on experience with epoxy floor installation, tile laying, hardwood flooring, vinyl flooring, and carpet installation is ideal Knowledge of building material installation safety compliance is essential for maintaining a secure work environment Experience in restoration industry projects such as water damage restoration or floor refinishing is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools confidently while following safety guidelines Strong manual handling skills combined with basic carpentry knowledge support successful project completion Join us in creating beautiful spaces while advancing your skills in a supportive environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
