Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring and wall tiles, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine tile layout and installation procedures. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers to ensure optimal tile adhesion. Install various types of flooring including epoxy floors, vinyl, hardwood, carpet, and ceramic or porcelain tiles with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing tiles according to project specifications. Perform floor refinishing, water damage restoration, drywall repairs, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation as needed during projects. Ensure all work complies with building installation safety standards and industry regulations. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to site safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, building material installation, or related fields such as remodeling or restoration industry experience. Skilled in tile laying, epoxy floor installation, hardwood floor installation, vinyl floor installation, carpet installation, and floor refinishing techniques. Familiarity with interpreting blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings. Proficient with hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and specialized equipment used in flooring installation. Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and floor care practices is a plus. Ability to handle manual tasks safely through proper manual handling techniques. Strong construction site experience with an understanding of building installation safety compliance. Additional skills such as caulking, drywall repair, cabinet installation, handyman experience, concrete finishing, remodeling skills, buffing techniques are highly desirable.
