Our employees enjoy the benefits of: Union wages with benefits package and retirement funds Opportunities for career advancement A Flooring Laborer is responsible for various functions including, but not limited to : Installing polished concrete, epoxy, urethane, and underlayment flooring systems Knowledge in other types of flooring installation is preferred Experience operating hand tools and grinders/ blasting equipment Perform daily equipment checks Provide an aggressive and pro-active approach to problem solving Meeting production targets Maintaining work area that presents a safe, organized, efficient, and clean environment Responsible for keeping site and grounds clean and neat Must be able to complete project related paperwork neatly, timely, and accurately Must be able to do labor work Lift a minimum of 50 plus pounds on a consistent basis Walk long distances, up and down slopes and outdoor terrain Work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely Must be available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary Travel for extended periods, if necessary

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:

Familiar with OSHA and EPA regulations Must pass pre-employment drug test & random screening High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with employees, external vendors, owners and general contractors Must be familiar with or able to become familiar with applicable environmental and health & safety regulations and regulatory requirements This position is fulfilling duties of a laborer approximately 90% of the time; 10% of the time it is performing administrative duties or interacting with employees and customers.
