In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help transform spaces by delivering durable, visually appealing flooring solutions that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from small remodels to large-scale commercial installations, with a focus on precision and efficiency. Duties Install a wide range of flooring types including hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy, and carpet in residential and commercial settings Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute flooring layouts Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments or adhesives for optimal installation results Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials Perform floor refinishing, water damage restoration, and floor care maintenance to preserve longevity and appearance Assist with building material installation such as trim carpentry, caulking, fixture installation, and cabinet setup as needed Follow all safety protocols related to construction site work and building installation safety compliance to ensure a secure working environment Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation across residential and commercial projects with a strong understanding of construction estimating and planning Skilled in epoxy floor installation, tile laying, hardwood floor installation, vinyl floor installation, carpet installation, and floor refinishing techniques Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints for precise execution Proficient with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; caulking guns; and other building tools Knowledge of building material installation including trim carpentry, fixture setup, cabinetry, water damage restoration, and floor care procedures Ability to handle manual tasks safely with proper lifting techniques during manual handling activities Construction site experience with an understanding of safety regulations related to the restoration industry and general building work Additional skills such as handyman experience or remodeling background are highly valued Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier flooring solutions!
