Job Summary Smoketown Floor Covering is a commercial flooring company with most work located around the Lancaster area, the majority of our work is installation of carpet tile, LVT, VCT, ceramic tile and cove in commercial job settings. we are seeking experienced installers or willing to train. this is an hourly payroll position subcontractors need not apply. Responsibilities Work on a crew to install a variety of flooring types, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet. follow verbal instructions for layouts and installation requirements. Must be physically fit for construction type work and lift min 75lbs. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively required tasks. Perform tasks with quality and workmanship. Maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with other tradespeople when required to ensure seamless project execution. Must be flexible on work hours. Must have reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must wear proper company attire and professional appearance. Experience No experience required we are willing to teach you a trade. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols. Experience with carpentry, cabinet installation, remodeling, concrete finishing, and construction painting is highly desirable. Background in the restoration industry is a plus, particularly in water damage restoration techniques. Ability to use various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
