Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring surfaces including but not limited to carpeting and LVP. Your expertise will help transform spaces by ensuring precise craftsmanship, adherence to safety standards, and efficient project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in flooring installation while contributing to high-quality building projects that meet client expectations. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine flooring layouts and materials needed. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or adhesives for optimal flooring adhesion. Install various types of flooring including carpeting & LVP with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials according to specifications. Ensure compliance with building installation safety standards throughout all phases of work. Assist with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation as needed. Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields with a strong understanding of building material installation techniques is encouraged but we are willing to train the right person. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and manual handling equipment safely and effectively. Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
