Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial and Residential Floors Installer, where you will play a vital role in transforming spaces through expert flooring installation. This energetic position involves installing a wide variety of flooring materials—such as, vinyl, cove vinyl, LVP tile, carpet tile, and more—on both commercial and residential sites. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. Your expertise will help create beautiful, durable floors that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of any space. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute flooring installations. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments or primers for optimal adhesion. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, lay, and finish flooring materials according to specifications. Perform floor refinishing tasks such as water damage restoration to restore or enhance existing floors. Ensure all building material installation complies with safety regulations and building codes; maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist with manual handling of heavy materials and equipment while adhering to proper lifting techniques for safety. Measure spaces accurately using tape measures and interpret schematics or blueprints for precise installation.
