Foxy Epoxy Floors is a local Concrete Coatings & Garage Cabinet Installation company in Austin, TX. We are looking for an entry-level installation technician who is interested in joining our team. No Experience is Required; we will train the right candidate. We're seeking an individual interested in installing epoxy coatings, garage cabinets, and garage storage solutions. Applicants with prior coatings and/ or cabinet installation experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and have a good work ethic. In addition, you must be respectful to others, contribute positively to shared goals, and enjoy being a part of something bigger than yourself. High character and morals are essential to us.

Responsibilities:

Ability to effectively use large floor and hand grinders. Ability to brush on basecoat/topcoat with detailed work sometimes performed on hands and knees. Knowledge of and ability to mix various products with complete 100% accuracy. Ability to communicate clearly. Ability to work well with others.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License Authorized to work in the United States You must provide your own reliable transportation Punctuality A strong work ethic A desire to learn about concrete coatings and cabinet installations Availability to work varied hours as needed at multiple project locations throughout Austin, TX, and its surrounding areas Ability to pass security background checks for some projects we work on. Excellent customer service skills Understanding and passion for teamwork. Ability to work in both cold and hot temperatures. Ability to work at a fast pace. Ability to lift 50+ lbs often. Ability to sometimes work up to 10-12 hour shifts and weekends if needed to complete a job.

Experience:

Previous concrete coatings experience is not required. Cabinet installation experience is preferred but not required.

• Our work is typically performed throughout Austin and its surrounding areas. As we move from one project to the next, you may need to meet at each project location.
• You may drive a company vehicle during work hours.

This requires a thorough background and driving record check. No tickets or accidents on your driving record for the past five years are required. Preferred (but not required) experience in: General Labor Concrete Demo, Preparation, and Cleaning Concrete Patching Concrete Grinding Mixing and Measuring Epoxy and Sealers Applying Epoxy Coatings Applying Sealers Cabinet Installation Bilingual (Spanish)

Contractor Must-Haves:

Consistently upbeat and professional attitude Team player and the ability to work well with others. Attention to detail and a desire to learn a true craft.

Skills:

understand technical information and successfully carry out the steps of various installation processes. Ability to perform quality, detailed work accurately. Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines. Ability to bend, stoop, and squat. Must be able to lift, pull, and exert up to 50 pounds frequently in various positions. Must be able to work outdoors in wet and colder weather, as well as hot and humid weather experienced during the Summer months.

Must provide the following tools:
