Job Overview:

We are a growing professional art installation company seeking an experienced, dependable Lead Art Installer to join our team in Austin . This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently lead an installation crew while delivering exceptional service to high-end residential and commercial clients.

Position Details:

Pay:

$22-$28+ per hour (higher for exceptional experience)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00

PM Hours:

25-40 hours per week (overtime available)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a two-person installation crew on residential and commercial job sites Install framed artwork, mirrors, sculptures, shelving, and other decorative items with precision Read work orders, plan installations, and make sound decisions in the field Measure, level, mount, and secure artwork using professional installation techniques Safely transport and handle valuable artwork and client property Train and mentor assistant installers while maintaining a productive work environment Communicate professionally with clients, designers, galleries, and office staff Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment Ensure every installation meets company quality and safety standards

Qualifications:

Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Comfortable leading a crew and making decisions independently Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to safely lift heavy artwork, work on ladders, and perform physical labor throughout the day Experience using hand tools, laser levels, stud finders, and other installation equipment Previous experience in art installation, finish carpentry, cabinetry, construction, moving, or a related trade strongly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation to our Austin shop
