Laser Acoustics Inc. is hiring an entry-level Acoustical Ceiling Installer to work on a crew installing acoustical and drop ceilings in offices and commercial buildings. This is a hands-on construction role ideal for someone looking to learn a trade and grow their skills.What You'll Do:
Install acoustical/drop ceilings on commercial job sites. Bring materials onto the job site, set up ladders and scaffolding, and keep the work area organized. Measure, cut, and fit ceiling grid and tiles using basic hand tools and power tools. Follow directions from the lead installer and learn to lay out work based on drawings and site conditions. Wear required PPE and follow all safety rules on active construction sites.The company is looking for:
High school diploma or GED. No prior experience required entry-level position with on-the-job training. Comfortable working at heights on scaffolding. Willingness to learn and follow directions. OSHA-10 training is a plus (not required). Reliable and punctual.Tools & Equipment:
All PPE provided (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and gloves on Day 1). You must provide your own steel-toe boots. About $50 in basic tools will be required; you may wait up to 2 weeks to purchase them. Once you purchase stilts (approximately $250) and demonstrate safe use, you will receive a $1/hour raise (typically within 90 days).Benefits:
Paid holidays after 90 days (major holidays only). Paid vacation 1 week after 2 years of employment.Background Requirements:
