In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including ceramic, porcelain, across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install tiles and flooring materials. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate underlayments or adhesives to ensure optimal installation conditions. Install a variety of flooring types including ceramic, porcelain with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing tiles or flooring materials. Perform floor refinishing, water damage restoration, drywall repairs, caulking, trim carpentry, and other related tasks to ensure seamless finishes. Follow all building installation safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Assist in interpreting technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise installation according to project specifications. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely while adhering to proper handling procedures. Contribute to remodeling projects by installing fixtures, applying construction painting techniques, or performing concrete finishing as needed. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on flooring installation or related building material work. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and material requirements. Knowledge of building material installation safety compliance standards is essential for maintaining a secure work environment. Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics or blueprints accurately. Experience working on construction sites with exposure to water damage restoration or general remodeling projects is highly desirable.
