As a Concrete Coatings Installer, you will be tasked with preparing concrete surfaces and applying specialized coatings to enhance their appearance, durability, and functionality. Your role involves understanding different coating materials, surface preparation techniques, and application methods to ensure high-quality results. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:

Inspect concrete surfaces for cracks, imperfections, and contaminants. Clean and prepare surfaces by grinding, shot blasting, or chemical etching to ensure proper adhesion of coatings. Repair cracks, spalls, and other surface defects using appropriate materials and techniques.

Coating Application:

Select and mix coating materials according to manufacturer specifications. Apply coatings using spray, roller, or trowel techniques, ensuring even coverage and thickness. Implement multiple coats and decorative finishes as per agreed contract Work with epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, and other coating systems.

Quality Control:

Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to ensure optimal coating application and curing. Conduct adhesion tests and visual inspections to verify coating integrity. Rectify any coating defects or irregularities promptly. Must be able to maintain a clean work environment.

Safety and Compliance:

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Education and Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in concrete coatings application preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
