Arlandria Floors is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational functions of our flooring business. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for coordinating projects from the point of sale through installation and final completion while helping guide broader operational and product decisions for the company. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position works closely with our sales team, installers, vendors, customers, and management to ensure projects are properly planned, materials are available, installations remain on schedule, and outstanding issues are resolved quickly. Key Responsibilities

• Manage flooring projects from sale through installation and final completion.
• Coordinate and maintain the installation schedule for residential and commercial projects.
• Communicate with customers, installers, sales representatives, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate punch-list items, service calls, callbacks, and project closeout.
• Order flooring, installation materials, accessories, and related products based on project requirements.
• Track material orders and anticipated delivery dates to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Verify materials and project requirements before installations are scheduled.
• Help resolve installation, material, scheduling, and jobsite issues as they arise.
• Organize and maintain showroom displays, samples, merchandising areas, and product literature.
• Coordinate updates and changes to showroom displays with manufacturers and sales representatives.
• Assist in evaluating flooring products, installation systems, vendors, and services offered by the company.
• Participate in higher-level operational decisions regarding which products and services Arlandria Floors offers.
• Identify opportunities to improve company procedures, workflow, scheduling, purchasing, and customer experience.
• Maintain accurate project information and documentation within company systems.
• Help ensure projects meet Arlandria Floors' standards for workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.

Qualifications Required:

• Previous project management experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions independently and solve problems as they arise.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable working directly with customers, vendors, installers, and sales staff.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in the flooring, construction, remodeling, or building-materials industry.
• Experience with RFMS flooring software, including project, order, inventory, or scheduling functions.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors or installation crews.
• Experience purchasing and ordering construction or flooring materials.
• Familiarity with flooring products and installation methods.

Position Details This is a full-time, salaried management position. The Operations Manager should expect a typical work week of approximately 50-60 hours, depending on project volume and operational needs. Because this position is responsible for active flooring projects, installation scheduling, material coordination, and operational problem-solving, the successful candidate must be comfortable taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to resolution.
