This position specializes in commercial floor care, including floor stripping and refinishing, carpet cleaning, ceramic floor maintenance, and post-construction cleaning. Schedule Full-Time 2nd Shift (Evenings/Nights) Weekend availability as needed Responsibilities Floor Care & Maintenance Strip, wax, and refinish hard-surface floors Operate commercial floor machines, including buffers, scrubbers, and extractors Sweep, mop, polish, and maintain commercial flooring Vacuum, spot clean, and extract carpets Clean and maintain ceramic tile and specialty flooring Additional Duties Perform post-construction cleaning Complete general handyman tasks, including light painting, window cleaning, and minor repairs Assist with training new team members Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver's license with a clean driving record REAL ID or valid passport required Reliable personal transportation Comfortable driving company vehicles Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen Able to work evenings and weekends as needed Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Able to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards Previous floor care or janitorial experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate Pay & Benefits Starting pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour , based on experience Paid travel time between job sites Paid Time Off (PTO) Flexible scheduling Opportunities for advancement and professional growth Supportive team environment If you're ready to build a career with a company that values quality, integrity, and teamwork, apply today and become part of Covenant Building Maintenance.
