Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ceramic Tile Installer to join our team in Lake Geneva, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring and wall tiles, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with beautiful, durable tile installations that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial builds, while honing your skills in flooring installation and building material craftsmanship. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate tile layout and installation. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayment for optimal tile adhesion. Install ceramic, porcelain, epoxy, vinyl, hardwood, and other flooring materials using hand tools and power tools with precision. Execute specialized tasks such as epoxy floor installation, water damage restoration, floor refinishing, and floor care maintenance. Perform caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and cabinet installation to complete finished surfaces seamlessly. Ensure all work complies with building installation safety standards and local codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Assist with remodeling projects, concrete finishing, buffing, and restoration work as needed to support project completion. Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on flooring or building material installation. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical schematics or blueprints. Hands-on experience with a variety of tools including hand tools and power tools used in tile laying, carpentry, caulking, and floor refinishing. Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks such as manual handling of building materials safely and efficiently. Prior experience in remodeling projects or handyman roles that involved flooring installation or fixture setup is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and building installation safety compliance.
