Job Description

Job Summary Amazing Shower Door is looking for a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Bilingual Project Assistant to join our team. This position will assist with customer service, project coordination, glass layout preparation, vendor ordering, scheduling, payment follow-up, and general office support. The employee will communicate with customers, installers, vendors, and office staff throughout each project. This position also requires preparing accurate glass layouts and sending completed orders to glass vendors for production. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Chinese, comfortable working with measurements and fractions, and willing to learn about shower doors, glass products, hardware, and installation requirements. Training will be provided. Previous experience is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities Communicate with customers in English and Chinese by phone, text message, email, and in person Assist customers with shower door styles, glass options, hardware finishes, and basic design selections Answer customer questions and provide project updates Review field measurements, photos, drawings, and installation information Prepare accurate glass layouts and drawings for shower doors and other glass projects Calculate and verify glass sizes, gaps, deductions, hardware locations, and hole locations Confirm measurements, glass specifications, finishes, quantities, and project details before ordering Send completed glass layouts and order information to glass vendors Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, revisions, production questions, and order status Review vendor order confirmations and verify that all sizes, glass types, holes, notches, hardware locations, and quantities are correct Prepare and follow up on estimates, invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, and other project documents Collect customer deposits and final payments Schedule measurements, installations, service appointments, and customer follow-ups Coordinate with installers, warehouse staff, sales staff, management, customers, and vendors Maintain accurate customer, order, payment, and project records Handle customer service issues professionally and report important concerns to management Occasionally visit job sites to take photos, verify project details, communicate with customers or installers, and assist with project coordination Assist with posting project photos, videos, and promotional content on social media Perform general office and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Fluent in English and Chinese is required Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented Comfortable speaking with customers, contractors, installers, and vendors Comfortable reading a tape measure and working with fractions Able to perform basic calculations accurately Willing to learn how to prepare glass layouts and technical drawings Able to manage multiple projects and follow up on pending tasks Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and Microsoft Office Able to learn shower door systems, glass specifications, hardware, and installation requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Valid California driver's license required Experience Training will be provided for the right candidate. Previous experience in any of the following areas is a plus, but is not required: Customer service Project coordination Glass, shower doors, windows, construction, remodeling, or home improvement Preparing glass layouts, shop drawings, or technical drawings Reading measurements and calculating fractions CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, or similar drawing software Preparing estimates, invoices, sales orders, or purchase orders Communicating with manufacturers or building-material vendors Order processing or vendor ordering Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or Canva Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday In-person position How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed or email your resume directly to: aaron@hlg-usa.com
