Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer Glazier to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and glazing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our clients' spaces. Responsibilities Measure openings accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to determine glass sizes and installation requirements Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to ensure secure access during installation Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble glass panels or glazing components Install glass in windows, doors, storefronts, partitions, or custom fixtures with precision and care Perform caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing to ensure long-lasting performance of installed systems Conduct heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy glass units or framing materials Read blueprints and schematics to follow detailed instructions for fixture installation, cabinet fitting, or metal stud framing Qualifications Proven experience in glass installation, construction estimating, carpentry, or remodeling projects Skilled in using hand tools such as chisels, screwdrivers, hammers as well as power tools including drills and saws Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, fabrication techniques, and metal stud framing Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise measurements and installations Maintenance Person experience or construction painting background is a plus but not required Join our team to build beautiful spaces while advancing your skills in a vibrant and supportive environment!
