In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and glazing materials across a variety of commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all glass fixtures are securely and precisely installed, contributing to the safety, aesthetics, and functionality of our clients' spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require craftsmanship, technical skill, and a keen eye for detail. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and other glazing components according to construction plans and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation Handle glass materials safely using appropriate tools and techniques to prevent damage or injury Perform precise dimensional measurements for quality control and proper fitment of glass fixtures Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and install glass materials efficiently Assist with drywall installation, caulking, fixture mounting, door hanging, metal stud framing, and other handyman tasks as needed on construction sites Lift heavy glass panels or materials safely while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting operations Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while following safety standards at all times Skills Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings accurately Proficiency in using hand tools such as glass cutters, putty knives, suction cups, and measuring tapes Experience with window installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and metal stud framing Knowledge of glass materials handling techniques to prevent damage or injury during transport or installation Skilled in measurement for quality control to ensure precise fitment of all glass components Familiarity with power tools used in fabrication and installation processes Construction site experience with an understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting and working at heights Ability to interpret construction plans accurately for effective project execution Experience with drywall installation, caulking techniques for weatherproofing or finishing touches Demonstrated handyman skills including assembly work and general construction tasks Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship in the construction industry!
