Job Description

ShadeX Restyling is looking for an experienced Automotive Window Tint Installer to join our growing team in Dade City, FL. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can consistently produce clean, professional-quality installations. This position is intended for an experienced installer who is comfortable working independently and understands the standards required in a professional automotive restyling shop. Responsibilities Professionally install automotive window film on a wide variety of vehicles Complete door windows, quarter windows, rear windshields, and front windshields with exceptional installation quality Properly heat shrink window film when required Operate our plotter and cutting software for vehicle-specific patterns Troubleshoot basic plotter issues when they arise, including cutting, tracking, blade, pressure, alignment, and setup issues Inspect completed installations for contamination, creases, light gaps, fingers, or other imperfections before releasing the vehicle Properly protect customer vehicles during the installation process Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day Clean up tools, materials, film scraps, and work areas after each job Mix and refill slip solution/spray bottles as needed Keep installation tools and equipment organized and in good working condition Assist with basic shop duties during downtime Communicate any vehicle concerns, installation issues, or equipment problems promptly Help maintain the high level of quality and customer experience expected at ShadeX Restyling Requirements Previous professional automotive window tint installation experience is required Must be able to confidently tint vehicles without constant supervision Must have experience shrinking and installing rear windshields Windshield tint installation experience required Experience operating a window film plotter and pattern-cutting software Ability to diagnose and resolve basic plotter/cutting issues Strong attention to detail and high standards for installation quality Ability to keep a clean, organized workspace Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Must respect customer vehicles, shop equipment, and other team members Preferred Experience Experience with paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, vehicle disassembly/reassembly, or other automotive restyling services is a plus, but not required. What We're Looking For We're not looking for someone who simply wants to get cars in and out as quickly as possible. We're looking for an installer who takes pride in producing clean work and understands that quality matters. The right person should be dependable, motivated, organized, able to solve problems independently, and willing to help with the everyday responsibilities that keep the shop running smoothly. Pay:
$600.00 - $1,000.00 per week
