We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing building aesthetics, energy efficiency, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your skills in construction, carpentry, and glass installation to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. Duties Measure window openings accurately using blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure proper fitment. Remove old windows and prepare openings for new installations by performing demolition and site cleanup. Install windows using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques while ensuring alignment and secure fastening. Apply caulking, weatherproofing, and sealing materials to guarantee energy efficiency and prevent leaks. Assist with related tasks such as trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, metal stud framing, and remodeling projects as needed. Read schematics and blueprints to follow precise specifications during installation or fabrication processes. Lift heavy windows and materials safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on window or glass installation. 5 years or more. Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and trim carpentry. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings accurately. Familiarity with metal stud framing, fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and remodeling is preferred. Experience with construction estimating is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs. Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Handyman experience or general construction painting skills are advantageous for versatile project support. Join our team to build better spaces!
