Position Overview The Window Installer is responsible for the professional installation of replacement windows in residential homes. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship, as well as the ability to complete installations safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. The role may also involve light carpentry work, including framing, trim, casing, and interior and exterior finishing. Experience operating a metal brake and fabricating aluminum trim is a strong plus. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality finished product and professional customer experience. Window Installation Install replacement windows according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. Safely remove existing windows and prepare openings for new installations. Properly measure, level, secure, insulate, and seal replacement windows. Ensure completed installations meet company quality standards. Identify and communicate potential installation issues or job-site concerns to management. Carpentry & Exterior Finishing Perform light carpentry related to window installations. Complete framing, interior and exterior trim, casing, and finishing work as needed. Operate a metal brake to fabricate aluminum trim and exterior cladding when required. Ensure finished installations have a clean, professional appearance. Complete necessary adjustments and finishing work to ensure customer satisfaction. Job Site & Customer Service Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the installation process. Protect customer property and minimize disruption to the homeowner. Communicate professionally and clearly with homeowners regarding the installation process. Address customer questions and concerns appropriately and communicate issues to management when necessary. Complete installations efficiently and according to scheduled timelines. Safety & Teamwork Follow all applicable safety regulations and company policies. Properly use and maintain installation tools and equipment. Work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated surfaces as required. Collaborate with installation team members to complete projects efficiently and to company standards. Participate in training and follow company installation procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience installing replacement windows is required. Experience with residential window installation strongly preferred. Strong understanding of window installation methods and best practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent work ethic and positive attitude. Reliable and dependable. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces as required. Ability to work in varying weather conditions when performing exterior installation work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with light carpentry, framing, and trim work. Experience with interior and exterior casing and finishing. Experience operating a metal brake. Experience fabricating aluminum trim and exterior cladding. Experience with other residential exterior remodeling projects.
