Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install glass and other materials to create or repair windows, doors, and other glass products
• Fabricate and assemble frames, sashes, and moldings for installation
• Install glass in frames using hand tools, glazing compounds, and other materials
• Secure glass panes into frames with clips, moldings, or other types of fasteners
• Replace damaged or broken glass panes in windows or doors
• Install weatherstripping or other types of seals around windows or doors to prevent drafts
• Repair or replace window frames, sashes, or moldings as needed
• Clean work area and dispose of debris after completing jobs

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a glazier or similar role
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction principles
• Familiarity with construction estimating and reading blueprints
• Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, and measuring devices
• Ability to fabricate and assemble glass products according to specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
