What You'll Do Build custom wood doors and windows from rough lumber to final installation. Restore and replicate historic millwork while preserving original character. Repair and restore stained-glass windows and integrate them into custom wood sash and frames. Read plans, take precise measurements, and develop solutions for one-of-a-kind projects. Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately. Install finished work on-site with careful attention to fit, finish, and detail. Collaborate closely with a small team where every person's work has a direct impact on the company's success. What We're Looking For Extensive woodworking and woodshop experience. Strong understanding of traditional joinery, milling, and cabinetmaking techniques. Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Pride in producing work that will last for decades—not just until the next remodel. A problem solver who enjoys unique, custom projects rather than repetitive production work. Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to continual learning. Someone with grit, passion, and a long-term mindset who wants to grow with a small business. Experience with historic restoration, architectural millwork, finish carpentry, or stained-glass restoration is highly valued, though we are willing to teach specialized restoration techniques to the right candidate with a strong woodworking foundation.
