Job Overview Window crews welcome. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installation Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly installing, replacing, and repairing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality, safety, and precision. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate window placement and fit. Handle glass materials carefully during transportation, cutting, and installation to prevent damage. Use hand tools and power tools to remove old windows, prepare openings, and install new units efficiently. Perform detailed dimensional measurements to guarantee proper fit and alignment of windows, doors, and trim. Apply caulking, sealants, and weatherproofing techniques to ensure energy efficiency and durability of installations. Assist with fabrication or modification of window frames or related fixtures as needed for custom projects. Collaborate with team members on construction plans, remodeling tasks, and fixture or cabinet installation projects. Requirements Proven experience in window installation, carpentry, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment. Knowledge of glass materials handling, glass installation techniques, and metal stud framing is highly desirable. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in various weather conditions. Familiarity with construction estimating, remodeling processes, drywall finishing, painting, and fixture installation is a plus. Strong attention to detail in measurement (quality control) and adherence to construction plans for precise results.
