In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining glass and related materials across various in-shop projects. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality and precision in every task. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects Duties Measure, cut, and fabricate glass materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications. Install windows, doors, mirrors, glass panels, fixtures, and cabinetry with precision and attention to detail. Handle glass materials safely during transportation, storage, and installation to prevent damage or injury. Perform quality control checks through dimensional measurements and measurement techniques to ensure proper fit and finish. Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols in-shop. Support heavy lifting tasks and fabrication processes to ensure efficient workflow on-site. Qualifications Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools is essential. Experience with glass materials handling—including cutting, fitting, installing—and working safely with fragile materials. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights in various weather conditions on active construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively.
