Overview We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work with various materials and tools. A background in construction or maintenance person services is highly desirable. Duties Install glass in windows, doors, skylights, and other structures. Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions. Assemble frames and supports for glass installation. Fabricate custom glass pieces as needed. Perform repairs on existing glass installations. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion. Assist with fixture installation and drywall work as necessary. Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials safely. Build and install cabinets or other structures as required. Requirements Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar construction role. Strong skills in assembly, fixture installation, drywall work, and metal stud framing. Ability to fabricate glass pieces accurately. Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of safety protocols when working with glass and construction materials. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
