Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass and glass products in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work at heights. Construction, carpentry or framers can be trained easily and are encouraged to apply. Duties
  • Install, repair, and replace glass doors, windows, and other glass products using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Cut and Fab aluminum according to shop drawings
  • Ability to read a tape measure in 1/16" increments
  • Measure, cut, and fit glass and other materials into frames and openings.
  • Use schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and fit.
  • Hang doors and install door hardware.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and address any defects or issues with glass installations.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of glass products into larger projects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols. Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Glazier or in a related field, such as framer, carpenter or maintenance.
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and the ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Experience with remodeling and renovation projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to lift at least 80lbs and hold over head
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of glass installation and repair techniques.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
Ability to travel out of town on occasion for jobs This will start with a trial period of 60-90 days to see if its a good fit.
