Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry level Helper Glazier/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass, windows, doors, and related fixtures across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure precise measurements, proper handling of glass materials, and flawless installation that meets safety standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your craftsmanship, and contribute to creating beautiful, functional spaces. Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine accurate dimensions for glass and fixture installations. Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fabrication, and assembly of custom glass components. Install windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, and other fixtures using hand tools and power tools with precision. Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and related materials while adhering to safety protocols. Use caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and other finishing techniques to ensure seamless installation and aesthetic quality. Read blueprints and schematics to follow detailed construction plans accurately during installation processes. Conduct quality control measurements to verify the fit, finish, and durability of installed components; make adjustments as needed. Assist with remodeling projects by fabricating custom fixtures or modifying existing structures to meet project specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; ensure safety standards are consistently followed on-site. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, levels, drills, caulking guns, and measuring tapes; experience with power tools is essential. Skilled in window installation, glass handling, fabrication, and door hanging techniques. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes. Experience with construction site activities including framing (metal stud framing), drywall installation, painting prep, and remodeling tasks. Familiarity with schematics for fixture installation or cabinetry assembly; handyman experience is a plus. Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with excellent attention to detail in measurement accuracy.
