Job Description

COMMERCIAL GLAZIER
Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Glazier to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate has experience installing glass, aluminum framing systems, commercial doors, and related glazing products. Attention to detail, safety, quality workmanship, and reliability are essential. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret plans, specifications, and project paperwork. Measure, mark, cut, install, and replace glass. Install gaskets, sealants, mirrors, and shower glass. Fabricate and install aluminum framing systems and components. Install commercial doors and hardware. Take accurate field measurements and verify plumb, level, and alignment. Safely load, unload, and handle glass and materials. Operate power tools, saws, and jobsite equipment. Remove broken glass and prepare openings for replacement. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements. Work effectively with the Lead Glazier and field crew. Qualifications & Skills Commercial glazing or construction experience preferred. Ability to lift and safely handle up to 75 lbs. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work for extended periods. Comfortable working at heights and in extreme weather conditions. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Comfortable using power tools, saws, tape measures, and levels. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to read and understand project documents. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work effectively in stressful, fast-paced environments. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction certification preferred. Valid driver's license required. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile commercial glazing projects while developing technical and project management skills within a growing team.
