In this role, you will be responsible for professionally applying window tinting films to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish that enhances vehicle appearance and provides UV protection. Your expertise will contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering precise, clean, and durable tinting solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with automotive professionals and develop your skills in automotive glass and finishing techniques. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and removing existing window films or debris to ensure optimal adhesion of tinting materials. Measure and cut tinting film accurately using manual glass cutting tools and power tools, ensuring precise fitment for each vehicle. Install window tint films on various vehicle windows, including side, rear, and windshield areas, following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Handle glass materials carefully during installation, including automotive glass replacement and repair tasks when necessary. Operate company vehicles to transport tools, materials, and equipment safely to different job sites. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including detailing work areas after installations for a professional presentation. Follow all safety protocols related to power tool use, glass handling, and vehicle maintenance to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Prior dealership experience or automotive service background is highly preferred. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) considerations during tinting or glass replacement is a plus. Experience with manual glass cutting, auto glass installation, and automotive glass repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in hand tools and power tools for precise installations. Ability to lift heavy glass materials safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly. Familiarity with auto body repair processes and auto estimating procedures is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures relevant to glass fitting, auto body repairs, and overall vehicle care.
