Job Description
Window Covering Installer Budget Blinds of Victoria is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Window Covering Installer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing quality work, and provides excellent service in customers' homes and businesses. Previous window covering experience is not required. We will provide training on how to properly install our products. Responsibilities Install blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and other window covering products Use a tape measure accurately and verify measurements before installation Safely use basic hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment Review work orders and installation instructions Protect the customer's home, furniture, walls, and flooring while working Keep the work area clean and remove packaging and installation debris Test installed products to make sure they operate properly Explain basic product operation and care to customers Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and other team members Report product issues, measurement concerns, or installation complications Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a clean and organized condition Qualifications Basic knowledge of common hand and power tools Comfortable working with tools and completing minor installation or repair work Able to accurately read and use a tape measure Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Customer-service focused with a friendly and professional attitude Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Able to follow instructions and work independently Comfortable working on ladders and at different heights Able to lift and carry window covering products and installation equipment Valid driver's license and a safe driving record What We Provide Hands-on training to install our window covering products Training on product operation, installation standards, and customer care Tools and support needed to complete installations successfully A professional, team-oriented work environment The right candidate will be dependable, respectful, mechanically inclined, and committed to giving every customer a professional installation experience.
