Responsibilities Remove old or damaged auto glass using manual cutting tools and proper safety procedures Install new automotive glass with precision, ensuring proper fitment and alignment Repair existing auto glass damages, including chips and cracks, utilizing specialized tools and techniques Operate company vehicles to transport glass materials and equipment to various job sites Handle glass materials carefully to prevent damage or injury during loading, unloading, and installation Use hand tools, power tools, and auto estimating software to facilitate efficient installation processes Maintain a clean work environment by detailing vehicles post-installation and performing minor auto body repairs when needed Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, heavy lifting, and glass handling to ensure personal and team safety Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as required to keep fleet operations running smoothly Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures clearly and addressing client questions professionally Qualifications Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred Knowledge of automotive glass replacement, repair techniques, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in auto body repair or mechanic work preferred Proficiency in handling various glass materials safely Familiarity with auto estimating software and vehicle maintenance procedures is advantageous Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles confidently We're dedicated to supporting your growth through ongoing training in automotive glass installation techniques, safety standards, and customer interaction.
