MD Machine produces metal hardware and components used in Murphy Door products, including door and bed hardware. The Packaging Associate is responsible for ensuring finished components are accurately counted, packaged, labeled, and prepared for their next destination. This position may also assist with basic quality inspection activities when needed. Responsibilities Package finished metal hardware and components according to established requirements. Verify parts and quantities before packaging. Accurately count, organize, and label packaged components. Check parts for visible defects, damage, or other quality concerns. Report incorrect, damaged, or questionable parts before they are packaged. Maintain accurate packaging and production documentation. Keep packaging and staging areas clean and organized. Assist with basic quality inspections, sorting, or related activities when trained and needed. Follow all safety procedures and required PPE requirements. Work with other production employees to maintain an efficient flow of finished products. Perform other related production duties as assigned and trained. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or quality experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to accurately count parts and follow packaging instructions. Basic math skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Willingness and ability to learn MD Machine products, part numbers, packaging standards, and basic quality requirements.

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
