The primary responsibility of this position is traveling to customer homes and job sites to professionally and accurately measure for custom shutters and window treatments . This is a field-based, hands-on position. In addition to measuring, this person may occasionally assist our team with installations, repairs, service calls, and other field-related work as needed. Previous window treatment experience is NOT required. We will train the right person. If you're good with a tape measure, comfortable with technology, mechanically inclined, and enjoy solving problems and working with customers, this could be a great fit. Primary Responsibilities Travel to customer homes, businesses, and job sites to perform professional measurements Accurately measure windows and openings for custom shutters and window treatments Determine mounting conditions and document important details for each opening Use company software on a phone, tablet, or computer to record measurements and job information Take photos and document job-site conditions Identify potential installation challenges before products are manufactured or ordered Double-check measurements to ensure accuracy Communicate important job details with our sales, office, production, and installation teams Professionally interact with homeowners, builders, designers, dealers, and other customers Help ensure projects are measured correctly the first time Additional Responsibilities While measuring will be the main focus of this position , there will be opportunities to help in other areas when needed, including: Assisting installers with shutter and window treatment installations Performing basic repairs and service work Troubleshooting product or installation issues Helping with adjustments and warranty-related service calls Assisting the field team with other projects as needed We like having team members who are willing to jump in and help wherever needed. What We're Looking For Window treatment experience is helpful but not required . We're looking for someone who: Can accurately read and use a tape measure Has excellent attention to detail Is mechanically inclined and enjoys figuring out how things work Is comfortable using power tools and basic hand tools Is comfortable using phones, tablets, computers, and software Has strong problem-solving skills Can work independently and manage a daily appointment schedule Is dependable and punctual Communicates professionally with customers Is comfortable working inside customers' homes Is willing to learn our products, measuring procedures, installation methods, and repair processes Has a valid driver's license and good driving record Experience That Translates Well You don't need to come from the window treatment industry.
