Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mid-Level Tint Technician, where your expertise will elevate vehicle aesthetics and safety through professional window tinting and automotive glass services. In this energetic role, you'll apply your technical skills to enhance vehicle appearance, improve driver comfort, and ensure precise glass installation. We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Tint Technician to independently install carbon and ceramic window film across a range of vehicle types, mentor entry-level technicians, and help maintain the shop's quality standard. This role is a strong fit for someone with real hands-on film installation experience looking for a shop with a clear path toward a Master Tint Technician or management role as the business grows. Responsibilities 1. Installation & Craftsmanship

• Independently install carbon and ceramic window film across sedans, SUVs, and trucks, working from pre-cut plotter patterns.
• Maintain a consistently low rework rate on the shop's scored 5-point final inspection (adhesion, alignment, edge quality, glare/haze, and pre-existing damage cross-check).
• Log film usage and job completion in Tint Wiz to keep real-time inventory accurate. 2. Mentorship & Training Support
• Provide on-the-job guidance to entry-level technicians on film handling, heat-gun technique, and edge work.
• Assist the General Manager/Master Tint Technician with training new hires during ramp-up and onboarding periods. 3. Quality & Workflow
• Flag equipment issues (plotter, heat guns) immediately per the shop's downtime contingency protocol.
• Maintain a clean, organized bay and follow all shop safety procedures. Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

1-3 years of hands-on window film installation experience (carbon and/or ceramic). Paint Protection Film (PPF) experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with plotter-cut film application, heat shrinking on curved glass, and multi-layer ceramic installation.

Operational Know-How:

Comfortable using Tint Wiz or similar CRM/job-tracking software.

Work Ethic:

Able to work independently, maintain quality under a daily throughput target, and support less experienced teammates. Compensation & Benifits

Base Pay:

$17-$31/hour, commensurate with experience.

Performance Incentives:

Eligible for bonus consideration tied to inspection pass rate and monthly shop throughput.
