Job Overview Join our team as a Window Coverings Technician, where you'll play a vital role in transforming spaces by expertly installing, repairing, and customizing window coverings such as blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies. Responsibilities Measure windows accurately to determine the appropriate size and type of window coverings needed for each project Install a variety of window treatments including blinds, shades, shutters, and custom draperies using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise placement and alignment Conduct site inspections to assess existing conditions and identify potential installation challenges Collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors to coordinate installation schedules and address specific needs Perform repairs and maintenance on existing window coverings to restore functionality and appearance Utilize construction management skills to oversee project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards Experience Proven experience in construction or remodeling projects with a focus on fixture or window treatment installation Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to construction or interior finishing Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, or heavy equipment operation relevant to installation work Knowledge of construction site safety practices and inspection procedures Background in carpentry, trim carpentry, or framing is highly desirable Experience working with various materials such as glass, fabric, wood, or metal for custom fabrication projects Ability to adapt quickly to different job sites while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Join us if you're eager to bring beauty and function into every space you touch!
