In this energetic role, you will assist with the installation and removal of insulation on various construction projects. This position offers an opportunity to learn skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and develop a solid understanding of insulation processes. Responsibilities Assist with the installation and removal of various types of insulation materials according to project specifications Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, fit, and secure insulation in walls, ceilings, and floors Follow blueprint specifications and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Climb ladders and scaffolding safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas on construction sites Work in crawlspaces and attics. Need to be comfortable in small, dark spaces. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and power tool safety procedures Interpret basic technical drawings and construction plans to support installation tasks Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met efficiently Skills Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation processes Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment, and insulation materials Experience or familiarity with construction site environments and safety standards Ability to use hand tools such as knives, tape measures, screwdrivers, and caulking guns confidently Climbing skills for ladder use and working at heights safely Understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings Knowledge of construction estimating principles is a plus but not required Experience with building insulation installation, plastering, stucco, masonry, or metal stud framing is beneficial Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously during all phases of work Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration This entry-level role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction.
