Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Blown-in Insulation Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality blown-in insulation in residential and commercial buildings to improve energy efficiency and comfort. Your expertise will help ensure that insulation projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, develop your skills in building insulation installation, and contribute to sustainable building practices. Responsibilities Prepare work sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers in accordance with safety protocols. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine insulation requirements and installation procedures. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to install blown-in insulation accurately within wall cavities, attics, and other designated areas. Climb ladders and scaffolding regularly to access hard-to-reach spaces while maintaining strict adherence to ladder use safety guidelines. Follow blueprint specifications and building codes to ensure proper insulation coverage and quality standards. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety equipment is used correctly at all times. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers regarding project progress, site conditions, or technical issues. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on building insulation installation or related fields such as masonry, stucco, or metal stud framing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge related to insulation installation. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and following blueprint dimensions precisely. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols including power tool safety and climbing procedures. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Physical ability to climb ladders repeatedly, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
