Job Title:
Insulation Installer Job Description This role focuses on installing batt insulation, spray foam insulation, and other insulation types in commercial, multi-family, and industrial buildings. You measure, cut, and fit insulation materials into walls, ceilings, and structural cavities, operate spray foam equipment and standard hand tools safely, and collaborate with a crew to complete projects efficiently. The position involves working on active construction sites in varying conditions, following all safety procedures and PPE requirements, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. Most projects are within approximately a 60-mile radius, with occasional out-of-town work for larger projects. Responsibilities Install batt insulation, spray foam insulation, and other insulation materials according to project specifications and building codes. Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials precisely into walls, ceilings, and structural cavities using appropriate tools. Operate spray foam equipment and standard hand tools safely and efficiently. Work on commercial, multi-family, and industrial construction sites in varying environmental conditions. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate closely with crew members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards. Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment at the shop and on job sites. Meet at the shop each morning, load materials and equipment, and travel with the crew to job sites. Participate in occasional out-of-town projects, staying in company-paid lodging when required. Use tape measures, utility knives, stapling guns, pliers, and other hand tools accurately and safely. Demonstrate reliability, ambition, and a strong work ethic, ensuring assigned tasks are completed thoroughly. Apply spray techniques effectively, especially when operating spray foam equipment, drawing on any prior spray gun experience. Communicate with supervisors and teammates about project progress, issues, and safety concerns. Adhere to scheduled work hours and take designated breaks in accordance with company policies. Essential Skills Ability to install batt insulation, spray foam insulation, and other insulation types in structural cavities. Basic construction skills, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately. Experience or strong aptitude for operating spray foam equipment and standard hand tools safely. Familiarity with using a tape measure, utility knife, stapling gun, and pliers. General construction or mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform physical labor on job sites. Strong work ethic, ambition, and commitment to completing assigned tasks effectively. Ability to follow safety procedures and consistently use appropriate PPE. Capacity to work in hot or cold environments and perform duties in non-climate-controlled buildings. Reliability in meeting early morning start times and working full shifts Monday through Friday. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior experience is not required if there is strong motivation to learn.Preferred:

Work Environment Work takes place primarily in new construction builds for commercial, multi-family, and industrial projects. Conditions vary by building and season, and job sites are not always climate controlled, so it can be hot or cold. Long sleeves, pants, and gloves are recommended because insulation can be itchy and protective clothing helps improve comfort. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00-5:00 p.m., with optional weekend work available and no cap on hours for those who choose to volunteer for additional time. Crew members meet at the shop each morning at 6:00 a.m., load materials and equipment, and travel together to the job site. There are occasional projects farther away that may require being out of town Monday through Friday; when this occurs, hotel lodging is paid for, and a daily per diem is provided. Travel time is paid, and an additional per diem is available if returning home after 8:00 p.m. Employees receive two paid 15-minute breaks during the workday and have the option to take a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The environment is hands-on, fast-paced, and team-oriented, with regular use of construction tools and spray foam equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belgrade, MT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
