Job Description
Moloney Insulation is looking for an experienced Spray Foam Technicianto join our team serving Flathead County and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone with hands-on spray foam experience who can confidently operate a spray foam rig, produce consistent quality work, troubleshoot equipment and application issues, and eventually take ownership of spray foam jobs in the field. What You'll Do Operate our mobile spray foam rig Apply closed-cell spray foam on residential and commercial projects Monitor temperatures, pressures, material ratio, and application conditions Prepare and mask work areas Maintain proper lift thickness and consistent application quality Clean and maintain spray foam equipment Troubleshoot equipment and application problems Keep the spray foam rig clean, organized, and job-ready Maintain accurate material and jobsite records Communicate professionally with builders, contractors, and customers Follow manufacturer recommendations and company safety procedures Work with and help train other crew members Assist with fiberglass batt and blown-in insulation projects as needed Spray Foam Experience Required This is an experienced position. We are looking for someone who has hands-on spray foam experience and understands both the equipment and application process. Experience with Graco spray foam equipment is a strong plus. You should be comfortable recognizing and correcting common issues involving: Material temperature Pressure and ratio Substrate conditions Lift thickness Foam quality Equipment performance Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot problems in the field are important for this position. 28-Ft Gooseneck Spray Foam Rig Our spray foam operation is housed in a 28-ft gooseneck trailer. Experience safely towing, backing, maneuvering, and parking a large gooseneck trailer is strongly preferred. You must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable operating a truck and trailer on active construction sites. What We're Looking For Proven hands-on spray foam experience Experience operating and maintaining spray foam equipment Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Valid driver's license Gooseneck trailer experience preferred Reliable and dependable Strong work ethic Attention to detail and pride in finished work Ability to work independently and solve problems Professional attitude with customers, contractors, and coworkers Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, garages, and other construction environments Full-Time, Year-Round Work Our spray foam work continues to grow, and the primary focus of this position is spray foam. Because we are a full-service insulation company, there will also be times when you'll work alongside our crew installing fiberglass batts and blown-in insulation. This helps us provide steady, year-round work rather than offering a seasonal or spray-foam-only position. That means being able to run the rig, recognize and solve problems, produce a quality finished product, take care of the equipment, work well with the rest of the crew, and represent Moloney Insulation professionally on the jobsite. The$28-$35/hour pay range is based on actual experience, knowledge, and ability. We have room for someone who has solid spray foam experience but may need some additional training, as well as an experienced technician who can step in and confidently run spray foam jobs.
