Overview Join our team as an Insulation Technician and become a vital part of creating energy-efficient, comfortable, and sustainable building environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various insulation materials across commercial and residential construction sites. Your expertise will help optimize building performance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in construction techniques, and contribute to environmentally conscious building practices. Duties Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, spray foam, mineral wool, or foam board according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools to secure insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and other areas requiring thermal or acoustic insulation Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate insulation work with framing, roofing, drywall, and other trades Apply caulking, sealing techniques, and trim carpentry skills to ensure airtight insulation systems and finish work Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards are maintained and troubleshoot installation issues promptly Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with familiarity in insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry or masonry Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) safely and efficiently Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist with material planning and job costing Mechanical knowledge including understanding HVAC systems, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, stucco application, roofing techniques, concrete finishing, plastering, masonry work, airless paint spraying, and construction painting is highly desirable Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights or in confined spaces Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions Valid driver's license required Join us if you're passionate about construction craftsmanship!
