Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Insulation Technician and play a vital role in enhancing building efficiency and comfort! In this energetic and hands-on position, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of insulation materials across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help improve energy performance, reduce environmental impact, and ensure safety standards are met. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while developing your skills in construction and insulation installation. Responsibilities Measure and cut insulation materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces according to blueprint specifications. Install various insulation types such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool in walls, ceilings, attics, floors, and other building areas. Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation aligned with project requirements. Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while ensuring compliance with safety standards like power tool safety and ladder use. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., knives, tape measures), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment. Ability to climb ladders safely and work at heights comfortably. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to insulation fitting. Familiarity with safety protocols including power tool safety, ladder use, caulking techniques, and general site safety procedures. Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems or building frameworks is a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Construction site experience with an understanding of blueprint reading and technical schematics is highly desirable.
