Job Description
We are seeking a competent mechanical insulation journeyman to work on commercial and industrial projects. You will be installing specialty mechanical insulation products and custom fabricated metal cladding on various types of mechanical pipes, ducts and other HVAC equipment. 4 years of experience in this trade is required. You must have reliable transportation, be willing to travel as needed, and be able to work in a construction environment. Good communication and collaboration skills are also a plus. Responsibilities Assist Foreman on construction sites with installation. Use ladders and specialty high reach equipment in a safe manner. Complete all required training and safety courses. Effectively communicate progress and goals with site foreman. Use fabrication and metal working tools proficiently. Ensure company materials and equipment are properly stored and secured on job site. Skills Basic carpentry skills Knowledge of basic construction principles and methods Able to work in a team Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination High school diploma or equivalent
