Typical Day Looks Like:
As an Insulation Installer, you create a comfortable barrier between living spaces and the outside elements.Your typical day includes:
Receiving your work orders and loading equipment Traveling to the job site Preparing the site by setting up tools and clearing obstacles Performing air infiltration detailing and hand-installing batt insulation using envelope theory Installing caulk, foam, stops, chutes, and blockers as needed for high-quality results Cleaning the job site and organizing equipment back on the truck Safety is always your top priority. You'll work alongside a great team and other tradespeople while taking pride in keeping homes and buildings warm and energy-efficient.
