Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Steel Worker to join our part processing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting sheets of plates, cleaning parts, and organizing parts for shipment. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings. Use measuring tape. Fabricate metal materials using plasma cutters, power tools, and hand tools. Maintain safety protocols at all times by adhering to OSHA regulations. Operate machinery such as forklifts or machining tools when required for material handling or component manufacturing. Skills Understanding of safety procedures. Proficiency in operating forklifts, power tools, and machining equipment. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for fabrication purposes. Skilled in measuring instruments such as tape measures. Mechanical knowledge related to metal materials, sheet metal fabrication, pipe threading, and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Experience with fabrication shop environments involving metal fabrication processes such as plasma cutting.
