Job Title:
Fabricator Job Description As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements. You will measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble structural steel and metal components according to established specifications and tolerances, operating fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders. Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble structural steel and metal components. Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, presses, ironworkers, drill presses, plasma cutters, grinders, and other metalworking machinery. Prepare materials for welding by fitting, beveling, cleaning, and aligning components. Perform layout and fit-up activities to ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity. Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with quality standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively. Essential Skills Fabrication Blueprint reading Welding proficiency Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of structural fabrication, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, blueprints, and shop sketches. Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and levels. Knowledge of structural steel fabrication techniques and practices. Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and material-handling devices. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blytheville, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
