Job Description
Description Radiology Supervisor MONDAY
- FRIDAY
PLUS CALL
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Supervisor to lead our radiology department and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team, oversee daily operations, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiology technologists and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee the scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of radiology personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies related to radiology practices.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to facilitate accurate and timely diagnostic imaging.
- Maintain and update departmental procedures, protocols, and documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance, and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and inventory to optimize resource utilization.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proven experience in radiology, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Current certification and licensure in Radiologic Technology.
- Proven experience in a radiology management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in radiology.
- Proficient in radiology information systems and electronic health records.
