Key Responsibilities :
Perform MIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong and precise welds. Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to fabricate metal structures and components. Measure, cut, and assemble metal products with a high level of accuracy. Conduct routine maintenance and repair on industrial machinery and equipment. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project specifications and requirements. Utilize hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks efficiently. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in the installation, dismantling, and movement of machinery and equipment. Perform inspections to identify wear and damage and determine repair requirements. Document fabrication and repair work, including materials used and time spent.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with strong skills in MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and drawings. Knowledge and experience in millwright duties and mechanical repairs. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy equipment and work in various conditions. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in welding or a related field is preferred. Must adhere to safety standards and wear protective gear as required.
